Louise Nevelson, Cascade VII
The Lacanian School of Psychoanalysis provides an unstructured opportunity to study the Lacanian psychoanalytical approach for anyone who is interested in learning more. The School’s purpose is to transmit psychoanalytic theory and offer a school within the historical context of the psychoanalytic movement to conduct education, research, and treatment for the benefit of the community.
Unless specifically noted, LSP Seminars and Events are open to the general public with no commitment to or enrollment in the School. The fee for a Seminar or Event that requires one is split 50/50 between LSP and the facilitator(s), and a symbolic donation to the School is requested in the case of a Seminar or Event that is free. If the fee of a Seminar or Event is prohibitively expensive for you, please contact the facilitator(s) to see if an accommodation can be made. For Seminars and Events, this is determined on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the facilitator(s).
While there is no formal application to attend the many seminars and conferences open to the public, most seminars or events require registration, often simply by sending an email request to the facilitator. You will find registration, fees, and contact information in the description of each event or seminar below. All payments or donations for seminars and events are accepted on the Payments page.
If you are interested in analytic formation through the School, please review the different tracks of formation available through LSP on the page regarding Psychoanalytic Formation.
Below you will find a list of upcoming events and seminars through the Lacan School of Psychoanalysis for 2021-2022. They are listed in categories by location. Click on the title of each event or seminar for a full description of the topic. The details of several events are being finalized and do not have all their information up currently. LSP intends to begin running clinical case cartels during 2022-2023, but has not finalized those for this coming year.
You will find a Program Archive of past years' LSP programs at the bottom of this page.
