Seminar Book VII: The Ethics of Psychoanalysis（II）
This year we will continue to read and discuss Lacan’s Seminar VII: The Ethics of Psychoanalysis, and explore the relationship between unconscious desire and Real jouissance. We will also extend our exploration to traditional Chinese philosophy and aesthetics, especially Zen and Taoist thoughts, in the hope of locating the thought and practice of Lacanian psychoanalytic ethics in the midst of the interaction of Western and Chinese ethics.
